We got Cooper (Cattle dog/ Australian shepherd mix) in April at around 4 mo. old after he had previously been with a family who did not want him for about one month. He has a lot of anxiety, especially separation anxiety from me and our other dog, Baxter. He also loved to jump on people, jump on counters and overall struggled to contain his positive and negative feelings. I was also injured over the summer walking him due to high reactivity.

We got Baxter (German shepherd mix) in October. Roughly 1 yr. old and was brought to the shelter from animal control after being surrendered by his prior owners. Baxter had a lot of insecurity and would jolt at even a slight movement or sound if he was not expecting it. He was very hesitant around other dogs and even more-so people. Counter surfing, nipping if trying to get him off the bed, lack of listening when using his name etc.

After talking with the office manager, Bert about the program and her dogs improvement, I was instantly sold and SO glad we made the jump.
Emily has improved our home life and made my feelings about having multiple dogs (again) a positive feeling and experience! I can walk outside knowing that they understand threshold and will stay, even with the door wide open. Anyone can walk into our home without getting jumped on or barked at. We no longer have dogs trying to jump on the couch or table chairs while we are eating and they are allowed to stay inside during meal times. I can take each dog on a peaceful walk knowing I won't hurt my hip trying to contain them. They are able to remain non-reactive on walks, even if another dog is struggling. PLUS, we have some fun goals and are working toward being able to camp, hike and paddle board off-leash! I feel confident in the knowledge I have gained to be able to hit these and I love that there are life-long meetups and walks where we can continue to build on the foundations we've been taught over the past 3-weeks.

I feel a better connection to and understanding of each dog and I'm beyond happy that we invested in this journey. I will only promote and review a business I am exceedingly happy with and The K9s Virtue hits and surpasses all of the top marks I could possibly think of.
