Join in for a Pack hike! We will be meeting at Apex & Enchanted Forest Loop in Golden! This is an opportunity to practice off-leash and trail etiquette with your dog.

Advanced dogs only, if your dog has aggression issues with dogs and humans a muzzle is required.

Meet Ginger! She came to us bursting with energy—reactive to dogs, chasing leaves, pulling, and even redirecting onto her sister or owners when she spotted a trigger. We stepped in with a clear, consistent structure both at home and on walks. By lowering her overall intensity through emotional regulation, we counter-conditioned the sight and sound of dogs to help her manage those big feelings. We also used extinction techniques to eliminate the redirection behavior. While Ginger still has the occasional challenging day, she and her owners have been absolutely crushing their training. If your dog struggles with reactivity, remember—it’s an intense emotional reaction, not a fixed behavior.
