We’re building a team of trainers who want to do meaningful work, continue developing their craft, and help dogs and owners build better relationships.
Why Work With Us
Meaningful Work
Our trainers work with clients who are committed to change. From puppy development to behavior modification, the work we do creates real transformation for both dogs and their families.
Focus on Your Craft
We handle marketing, sales, and client onboarding so you can focus on what you do best, training dogs and coaching owners. You won’t have to spend time sourcing clients on your own. Our team works to connect you with the right clients, ensuring a strong match so you can focus on delivering great results.
Specialize in What You Love
Our trainers are encouraged to develop areas of expertise, whether that’s puppy development, obedience, sport work, bite work, therapy preparation, or behavior cases. We believe trainers do their best work when they’re passionate about the type of training they’re providing. If there’s a particular area you’re drawn to, we’re fully supportive of helping you develop and grow that skill.
Real-World Training
Our programs take place in the client’s home environment, where real life happens. This allows trainers to address behavior challenges in the context they actually occur, creating more practical training and lasting results for both dogs and their owners.
Professional Team Environment
You won’t be training alone. Our team collaborates, shares knowledge, and supports one another when working through challenging cases. We hold regular team meetings to review training plans, discuss cases, and ensure every trainer has the guidance and support they need to continue growing in their craft.
Opportunities for Growth
We believe great trainers are always evolving. Our team members continue developing their skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to a wide range of cases. We also offer up to $300 annually in reimbursement for professional certifications, seminars, or continuing education to support each trainer’s development.
Community & Events
Our trainers are actively involved in pack walks, workshops, and community events designed to strengthen the relationship between dogs and their owners. At The K9’s Virtue, our mission extends beyond training programs, we aim to build a lasting community where owners continue to receive support throughout the life of their dog. As part of our team, you’ll be surrounded by both talented trainers and a supportive community that celebrates your growth and success.
Competitive Compensation
We offer a competitive pay structure with opportunities for increased earning potential as your experience, skills, and client load grow.
Build a Career That
Changes Lives
At The K9’s Virtue, we believe great dog training transforms more than behavior, it transforms the relationship between dogs and their owners.
We’re building a team of passionate, skilled trainers who want to do meaningful work, continue developing their craft, and help dogs and owners live better lives together.
If you're committed to growth, professionalism, and producing real results, we’d love to meet you.
