Bronson graduated from our Obedience Program in May 2026
" We finished the K-9’s Virtue program in May 2026 with our one year old lab, Bronson. It has absolutely changed our lives. Our dog has been completely transformed from a hyperactive super excited boy to an obedient, calm and content little gentleman. Emily is a dog whisperer…it’s surreal to see. She really knows how to read dogs and is instantly able to calm a dog down. More importantly, she taught us how to do that. We learned how to understand the unspoken messages our dog was giving us and to use that to help him regulate his emotions. It was a wonder to watch our overexcited dog decide for himself to chill out and settle and now we can help him get into that state at any time in almost any setting. It’s opened a lot up for us.
He can go to dog friendly restaurants, and places with tons of dogs, people and other distractions while staying calm, safe and happy. He can go off leash and be trusted to stay near us and always come when called. He doesn’t jump on anyone or anything anymore, which has made being around older and much younger family members so much safer. While we know we have a great dog, we also know that Emily’s training and support is really what got us to this place with him. We are incredibly grateful! The training with the K-9’s Virtue doesn’t end when your dog graduates- they have many group get togethers a month where graduates at the same level meet up and practice and hone their skills. You can go to as many sessions at your dogs graduation level as you want at no extra charge! You really can’t go wrong by choosing them! Money well spent!
For those of you thinking of trying the “easy button” with a board and train program, save yourself the money. We did one with our last dog and it failed terribly. While the trainer could get our dog to do anything, we couldn’t. I can understand why - unlike this program, they don’t teach you how to handle real life with your dog. The K-9’s Virtue sends their trainer to your home so you learn how to deal with the issues that come up in real life. You go on field trips and walks together as your dog progresses to challenge you and dog with professional back up. Emily gave us the confidence in ourselves and our dog to help him grow and keep on progressing.
Thank you Emily and the rest of the team at the K-9’s Virtue!”
